Home Information Packs (HIPs) - Proposition for Independent Solicitors

We are able to offer a range of services to Solicitors to enable the efficient and profitable production of Home Information Packs.

The Hips Direct ethos has always been based on supporting local business relationships between estate agents, solicitors and surveyors.

We understand the importance of a solicitor's involvement in the HIP production process in interpreting the search results and other HIP documents for consumers and arranging for any necessary further searches or enquiries.

In response to demand from our current solicitor clients, we now focus our services for solicitors in two specific areas:-

1. Software licensing to provide a simple online case management solution for solicitors who want to compile HIPs in house. The HIP is produced online making it easy and convenient to deliver to customers, estate agents and purchasers' solicitors. The software will provide appropriate alerts to ensure a smooth flow of information and has been tested in the market place for almost 2 years.

2. White labelling of software where solicitors do not want have direct involvement in providing HIPs. This means our staff take responsibility for assembly of the pack although the pack itself is rebranded so that the customer only sees the solicitors logo and contact details.

This has the advantage of leaving in house resources and personnel free to focus on areas of core expertise whilst still generating income from HIPs. Our existing solicitor clients report around an 80% conveyance conversion rate where they have received the original HIP instruction.

By combining extremely low overheads and efficient work processes we can guarantee our fees will be well below current retail rates and allow a significant margin for onward sale.
